Old Pasadena tour

The Walnut Community Services Department will sponsor an Old Pasadena Tasting Tour on Saturday, Jan. 16, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The tour offers a taste of Pasadena's delicious treasures. The tour lasts 3 hours and covers a little over a mile, so wear comfortable shoes.

The food samples are generous in size, so a lunch stop is not necessary.

Visual art fun

The Rowland Heights Library will offer visual art workshops on Thursdays from 3:15 to 4:45 Christian Dior Replica Watches p.m., beginning Jan.21 and ending Feb. 18.

Artist Lilia Ramirez will teach children 11-15 years old drawing and painting techniques. Kids will also discover printmaking.

The teens will explore how to create collage designs and make recycled art. The workshops are cosponsored by Theatre of Hearts Youth First in association with Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe.

Storytime set

The Rowland Heights Library offers storytime for young children every Wednesday at 7 p.m. The activity is for kids in preschool to second-grade.

The free event will include 30 minutes of storytelling and 30 minutes of crafts. Parent/adult supervision is required. The library is at 1850 Nogales St., Rowland Heights. For more information, call 626-912-5348.

Grieving?

A grieving group for seniors 55 and up who has suffered any type of loss is offered from 9 to 11 a.m. the first Friday of every month at the Walnut Senior Center, 21215 La Puente Road.
